Yesterday PayapaPaya Scans surprised us with a nice new NanoFate release: 2nd Mother’s Day. This is one of the comics from the official Nanoha Anthology Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha Comic A La Carte, you can click the link if you're interested in seeing more from this book.
The story is written by Masaki Tsuzuki (the original writer of the series) and the art is made by Yuki Mashiro (you probably remember some NanoFate stuffs from this artist). This release is only 6 pages long, but it's a very sweet and funny story that shows us more about Fate's role as a mother and as a "father" in the Takamachi family. It seems like Tsuzuki really likes to show us Fate as "Fate-papa", at this rate we'll see Fate being welcomed back home by Vivio and Nanoha with her handsome Force ponytail in a suit and holding a briefcase in no time! And then tuxedo wedding~

Also poor Fate-chan, being teased by her wife and daughter like that, but seems that both Nanoha and Vivio love teased Fate expressions a bit too much to stop :D
That is true, this story was really sweet, and also funny. Since we don't get much family doujins (most of them are just NanoFate romance without much of Vivio), it's nice to see more of our favorite family from the official sources ^^

glad you guys like it :3 we worked hard on this one, I had lots of japanese sfx I had to redraw over, so i'm really happy with how this one turned out. After we do vivid 13,14, and 15, we are going to do more doujinshi.

This was really fun to read, though awfully short. I'd like to see more of these Takamachi family-type doujins.
Well, it's technically not a doujin, since doujins are fan made manga, while 2nd Mother’s Day and all the other stories in this book are official releases, like the stuffs in the NanohaType magazine too. Lately with the movie we're getting so many thing that's hard to keep track of everything >.<
oh, its also canon that Vivio is a HORRIBLE cook. One that I want to translate from that manga is her trying to bake cookies for Einhart. They was so bad that Fate-mama started to sweat and forced herself to swallow without gagging, and Nanoha-mama even said "They're disgusting!" It was hilarious.
...But Einhart liked them, because Vivio made them :3 It's adorable.
At least... Tsuzuki Masaki is finally admitting that NanoFate is canon and so is ViviEin, x]

Vivio is still young so she can learn to cook with the time. Nanoha should know how to cook and bake well, and I think our motherly "Fate-papa" should be skilled in the subject too, so Vivio has a couple of good cooking-instructors right there.
No way! Fate's just begging to be spoiled! She's like an abandoned kitten who you can't help but pet all the time!
