Hi! THIS is something I came up with while talking to a friend of mine about it. I decided to make it into it's own story instead.
For those of you who know me, yes, I used the same title as my other one. If you want to read my other one, here's my link:

Oh, Nanoha and Fate are 12 years old in here, but they're starting out as 14 first.
Enjoy~
I walked down the familiar path leading to Nanoha's house. 'It's been 2 years since I've been gone.' I pulled out Bardiche and held onto him. 'I wonder how Nanoha's been doing?' A bus stopped by to drop off people living near and for some odd reason I stopped to look at the bus. It just drew me in.
I didn't understand why, but the moment I saw Nanoha walk out I knew why.
"Nanoha! Hi!" I called out waving to her.
She stared at me with confusion in her eyes. "Um, hi? Do I... know you?"
I stopped waving and my hand slowly dropped to my side. My world had just stopped. Again.
"I-it's me, Fate." I said feeling sadder every second she stared at me with those emptiness in her eyes.
"... Fate? Sorry, but I don't know anyone with that na..." 'Nanoha!' "... me..."'Do you want to go out with-'
I saw her stumble a little and reached out to catch her.
"Are you ok, Nanoha?" I helped her up.
"Y-yeah..." She looked up. "Ah, I'm sorry!" She took a step back and bowed. "Um, thank you... for catching me..." 'I like you, a lot.' I saw her turn around looking for something or someone, but shook it off when she couldn't find what she wanted to find.
"... your welcome..." I stared at her again.
"W-what is it?" She looked back and forth from me and to the side.
"Raging Heart. You still have her." I felt something warm inside of me.
"How do you know Raging Heart?" Nanoha grabbed a hold of Raging Heart and squeezed her.
"I gave Raging Heart to you, before I left..." I almost sobbed out.
"Mother hasn't told me this before..." Nanoha whispered to herself, but still audible enough to hear from my distance.
"What do you mean your mother hasn't told you? What-" And then it hit me. What I overheard in the hospital that day.
'She got stabbed with a medal in her chest, near her heart, but enough to miss it. I think her father knew and protected her just in time before it stabbed her heart. The medal is about 10 feet long and 1 inch. Luckily it wasn't that big.'
'The worst case scenario is that the compact paralyzed her every being from her thighs and down. I think she got crushed by the car and the medals falling down with them.'
'Another problem is that... we don't know when she'll be able to wake up. And her father... your husband... we don't think he'll be able to wake up, nevertheless, stay alive. His survival in this is very low... all we can say is that he'll still be breathing maybe until tomorrow night.'
"I... sorry, I'll be leaving now... sorry to have bothered you... Nanoha..." I turned around and felt hands grab my hand, my hand that was holding onto Bardiche.
"Wait!" I heard Nanoha yell when she stopped me in my tracks. I turned to face her and she looked like she regretted stopping me. "I uh... your gold triangle... I feel like I've seen it before..." She trailed off looking at it in my hand.
Is Nanoha remembering some things?
Two Years Earlier~
"Nanoha, come here for a sec." Dad called to me when I walked inside the door to our house.
"Yes, what is it Dad?" I walked into the living room and found him sitting on the couch as usual with a newspaper in his grasp and a cup of coffee in his other hand.
"I was wondering if..." Dad trailed off and looked at Mom in the kitchen who looked back at him like she wanted him to say something to me. "... you wanted to go somewhere? Just the two of us. Father and daughter spending some time together. What do you say?"
"Er... um... sure, Dad. I would love that." I walked towards the stairs leading to my room. "I'm going to go change real fast, ok? I'll be down in 10 minutes."
"Sure, take your time." Was all I heard Dad say before I walked the many stairs leading to my room.
I got changed within those 10 minutes and went downstairs where Dad was waiting for me still on the exact same spot I last saw him before I went upstairs.
"Ok Dad. I'm ready, let's go." I said while pulling on my shirt to adjust it to feel comfortable.
"Ok. Let's go, Nanoha. We'll be back, Momoko." Dad hugged Mom and gave her a kiss goodbye.
"Take care, honey. Bye sweetheart."
"Bye Mom!"
Mom waved and that was the last time I saw her before we went into the car.
The ride was long.
"Where are we going, Dad?" I asked curiously. He just smiled and looked ahead.
I watched the many trees we passed by and realized that we were going up in the mountains.
"Dad? Why are we going up the mountains?" I looked out the window with my face and hands pressed on the glass window. "Wow. It's pretty."
"Isn't it? I wanted to take you to this one place. For you going into Middle school. I'm just happy that you made it this far." Dad patted me on the head and kept driving.
The drive there was shorter than I thought it would be. We got there in half an hour and were standing in the store where there were many things that I always wanted long ago.
"Dad..." I said almost crying.
"I know, I know. No need to thank me. It was your mother's idea."
"Mom's?" I turned to him and hugged him. "Thanks Dad. I don't know what to say."
"Well, you can by telling me what you want?" Dad smiled and I picked out the things I wanted.
2 hours later and we were on our way back home from the mountains. We just got in our car and drove out down the mountain.
The scary part was I didn't know that we would meet with this big truck at the rail.
It came out of no where when we were turning the curve of the mountain where there was a rail on our left side. Dad turned the car slightly and yelled. "Why is there a truck here?! It's not supposed to be here!"
We were so close to the rail that when the big truck turned it hit us and took us with it when it turned. We were too close to the rail that we hit the rail, and it broke.
Our car swung to the edge.
I screamed.
Dad tried to comfort me.
And our car fell.
The big truck was stuck at the edge that the ropes holding what seemed like 100 medal pieces ripped somehow.
Half of the medals or so fell down the edge and went passed us and some stabbing the car all the way through.
Everything went too fast that I saw Dad unbuckle his seat belt and jump over to my side to protect me while I was still screaming.
He moved me closer to the door and I felt pain, not just the pain when I came into contact with the door but my chest. It hurt.
I saw blood splatter the windows in front of us and hearing Dad telling me to close my eyes.
I didn't close them.
I stared at the window, but then my eyes started closing slowly. My chest hurt.
When I blinked it all seemed to be over and we were at the bottom of the mountain. We had crashed on the next road at the bottom of us 5,000 feet down.
I don't know how we survived, but we were still barely alive when we crashed. I was losing my vision now so I tried to find Dad to see if he was alright.
"... D.. ad...?" I called out and reached for him but felt him still hanging on to me. I grabbed him and shook him a little. "... Da... d... wa... wake up..."
"... nnn..." Dad stirred and opened one of his eyes. The other closed shut.
I saw blood when I looked at him.
I saw blood on his head where he had hit the window.
I saw blood on his face, covering half of his face.
I saw blood on the windows where it had got splattered on.
I saw blood on my hand where I had been stabbed by one of the medals.
I was losing my vision more. But I couldn't let that happen. I had to stay awake, if I don't then I might die.
I unbuckled my seat belt and dragged Dad out with me.
I screamed.
It hurt.
My chest hurt.
My chest is bleeding.
I'm losing too much blood.
"Gaaah!" 'It hurts so much!'
We got out of the car just in time before it exploded.
"Ahhh!!" I cried out when the fire caught to where we were laying. It was hot and it was burning my skin.
I rolled over and saw a bright blue thing waving in the air where the big truck was stuck at at the top. It looked like ribbons. Or maybe it wasn't, I don't know... and then I saw that black figure move away and it felt like it was smiling down at us.
I heard Dad gasping and whispering and turned my head towards his direction to listen to him. I also heard an ambulance siren near by.
"... Na... no... ha... I... I wanted to... tell you... that..."
And then darkness took over me.
2 day's later~
Ring, ring. Ring, ring.
"Coming, coming!" Called Precia walking towards the phone.
Ring, ring. Ring, ring.
"Hello?"
There was a long pause.
"Yes, she's here... yes... yes... what is it...? Alright... Fate, phone!" Precia called while covering the phone with her hand.
Fate ran downstairs in super speed thinking it was Nanoha on the phone. "I'm coming, Mom!" She grabbed the phone and met her mother's eyes. They told a whole different story that it wasn't Nanoha, it was about Nanoha. She knew those eyes from anywhere.
"Hello?" Fate asked scared it wasn't going to be Nanoha. And it wasn't.
"Fate-san?" Fate heard fear in Momoko's voice.
"Y-yes, Momoko-san?" Fate gripped the phone in her hands tighter than usual.
"It's about... Nanoha..."
"... she's..."
Fate's world stopped.
Fate lives 3 cities away from Nanoha so she asked Precia for money and got her stuff packed and left out of the house to visit Nanoha.
When Fate reached the hospital she walked in and signed in. Walking to Nanoha's room she saw Momoko sitting out in front of the door waiting for someone.
"Momoko... -san?" Fate asked thinking if she should bother her or not. Momoko turned around and looked at Fate and gasped.
"Fate-san! You're here!" Momoko jumped out of her seat and hugged the small girl.
"... yeah, I'm here... how is she? How's Nanoha doing?" Fate asked worried Momoko might say a different answer.
"She's fine... but Shiro..."
Fate's eyes widened.
"Shiro-san's ok isn't he?" She grabbed onto Momoko's arms. "He'll be ok, right?"
"I don't know... the doctors are still in his room... they should be out in a while..."
And after Momoko said that the doctors came out of the room next to Nanoha's.
"I think you should go visit Nanoha. I'll stay here and talk to the doctors..." Momoko told Fate and she nodded. Going in Nanoha's room Fate heard the doctors talk with Momoko about Shiro.
Beep.
'She got stabbed with a medal in her chest, near her heart, but enough to miss it. I think her father knew and protected her just in time before it stabbed her heart. The medal is about 10 feet long and 1 inch. Luckily it wasn't that big.'
Beep.
Fate's eyes widened each time she heard the doctors talk about Nanoha's accident.
Beep.
'The worst case scenario is that the compact paralyzed her every being from her thighs and down. I think she got crushed by the car and the medals falling down with them.'
Beep.
Fate walked slowly over to Nanoha's bedside.
Beep.
'Another problem is that... we don't know when she'll be able to wake up. And her father... your husband... we don't think he'll be able to wake up, nevertheless, stay alive. His survival in this is very low... all we can say is that he'll still be breathing maybe until tomorrow night.'
Beep.
"Nanoha..." Fate called out.
Beep.
"Nano.. ha..." Fate sobbed out.
Beep.
"... Na... no... ha..." Fate held onto Nanoha's hand and pleaded for her to wake up from the bed.
Beep.
"Please... Nanoha... wake up..." Tears fell down Fate's cheeks but Nanoha didn't answer to her call.
There were no signs of Nanoha waking up in the slightest the past month Fate was there. Each day and each night Fate would always be there, talking to Nanoha, reading to Nanoha, singing to Nanoha, anything so that Nanoha would wake up.
But there were no signs.
So Fate left.
And what she didn't see was Nanoha's finger make the slightest movement when she turned around. And she didn't see her finger move again when she turn to get a good look at Nanoha once more before closing the door and going back home.
Fate had lost hope of Nanoha waking up, but she still kept hoping just in case one day Nanoha would wake up to be the cheering Nanoha she knows and loves. So she put Doctor Shamal in charge, but forgot to give her her contact number.
Amnesia! Great...just great...that and Nanoha's dad is dead. How much worse can things get from here?
Very sad beginning to a tender love story that has a nice atmosphere to it, I'm looking forward to reading more chapters!
