I don´t know where to post this, so it ins´t correct, sorry.

Well, like the tittle of the thread, I want to know if anyone knows a website where they explain how to make Bardiche, because I will make one for a cosplay the next week (yeah, I know I haven´t to much time xD).

If there isn´t any website, well, I try my best and improvise xD (few years ago, I made a spear and Lord of the Rings´s helmet on my own xD).

i dont know if this can help you but check here:

http://www.cosplay.com/showthread.php?t=153573

here you have a complete description of how to make a bardiche and the materials you need.
when you finish it you should have something like this:

Warning: the final product may not be exactly like the one in the video example, some features may not be included XD have a nice day!

PD: that sure was a video O_O

PD2: in the worst case scenario, here is a video of how to make a unactive version of bardiche:
enjoy!

Thank you, Zerovirus ^^. Well, the Bardiche on the video is very professional xD, I will make something less ambitious, thought.

I remember watching that Bardiche video awhile ago. Soooo cool~

I spoke to a professional cosplayer one time and asked her for suggestions on making props, specifically a scythe. She said for the handle, use a shower curtain rod. You should be able to buy it at a local retailer. A quick google shows that they sell it at Macy's, Sears, and Walmart. Keep the material in mind when buying one. You don't want to walk around w/ a heavy metal rod. There should be plastic one's I believe.

For the top of the scythe, she said to buy a foam board. You can get them at staples. Also google foam boards, for an idea of what it looks like and how much it might cost as well as other retailers that sell them.

Once you have the board, you'll have to do a little work. Use a pencil to draw out where you're gonna cut the foam. Then cut it(not sure what you should use to cut it). Attach it to the rod in some way. Might have to do some painting and cutting, but that should put you off to a good start.

Thank you Motaku96 for the suggestions ^^.

This weekend I´m working on my Bardiche ^^. For the handle I have an iron rod (provides by my father, who usually works with them) and for the head I´m using cardboard; I´m making a type axe head (I got the template for an artbook). Now, the most difficult part is attach all the pieces to the rod >.<, but I hope be able to imagine something.

Well, there it is, my homemake Bardiche.

Spoiler:

I know that it would be better (more better xD), but I tried my best and I'm not disappointed with the result (I just hope it reaches full to the place I will go xD)

Not bad at all Nura! It's certainly not an easy weapon to reproduce and you did a fine job. Now be very careful during the convention (or wherever you want to bring it) since it's fairly long. I also hope you manage to make it not too heavy so it won't break Σ( □|||).

高町一家. Nuff said.

Thanks so much for the bardiche pictures. im gonna make bardiche assault. i needed to see how the bottom looked and your pictures really helped. i went crazy yesterday and i sat on the computer for hours just trying to look for a tutorial. (and by the way they dont have one sadly...) i think the assault form will be a bit harder to make and its gonna take a lot of wonderflex or friendly plastic...

Thanks ^^. Hehe, surely, I will not to play with it xD, it isn´t too heavy, but the head is a little delicate. Well, at least I be able take some pictures with it :D

Ooh. Looks really nice. I'm very impressed with the axe portion. Looks like it was complicated to make. And you did a good job of recreating it.

Yeah, the axe was the most complicated part, exactly, put it all together.

Impressive, Nura! Are you going to the cosplay event with someone wielding a Raising Heart? X3

NanoFate fans please don't send me hate mail... I promise to turn back into a ferret and leave Nanoha (and her waifu) alone XD

I wished that xD, more than a event, I gone to a web meet (mmm, we call it Fantasymereth and It isn´t about only anime and manga) and I think that me and a friend are the only people who know about MSLN xD, so there wasn´t any Nanoha xD

I don't think you're the only one. IIRC the fansubs I downloaded (proud purchaser now) also misinterpreted it as Raging Heart as well.

Spoiler:
Vivio now needs two strong mamas to protect her

Can someone please, please, please tell me how i can make Bardiche and Raging Heart without all the fancy stuff???? all i need it to do is move it around like this one vid of Graf Eisen. it looked a little easier to make than all the fancy stuff added. so someone please tell me before cosplay actually starts!!!!

Well, like I said some posts up, to make my Bardiche, I use an iron rod and cardboard; it´s not to difficult to make it, but put all the peaces toguether was a difficult challenge :P, I used a lot of silicone, glue and adhesive tape. Perhaps an easy way to do it with a material that allows it in one piece, material like foam board, cardboard or plastic.

Sorry for not being more helpful, I was improvising as I advanced ^^U
