Its 1am and I just finally found the magazine that had the MSLN movie comics in it. Chapter 2...what can I say. Precia Testarossa is every bit the woman I thought she was. For all that fierce exterior I have never seen a mother care so much about her own daughter. Its just unfortunate that whatever feelings she might have had for Fate were always diluted with the loss of Alicia. I suppose if I suffered like that and had a constant living reminder next to me of losing what I valued most, I would probably go insane as well.
Now I am not trying to excuse her for what she did during the series, I am just saying that I at least understand where she is coming from. Although I know she could have done better in controlling herself, I am not the creator of the series so my powers are limited to writing my own alternate universes. All in all...its a great read. *looks at not-quite-so-legally-acquired-Nanoha-movie-ticket* Cant wait for it! ^.^
I, too perfectly understand what Precia feels, loosing a loved one is something we never get past (as I sadly experienced myself), although as you say, it didn't excuse in any way what she have done to Fate, but it explains how she became what she was during the first series.
I'd say, having the clone of your beloved deceased daughter constantly in front of you, would make almost everybody plunge into madness, because it's way too much for most people to endure.

From what I gathered, it follow the same way as Macross DYRL : a in-universe movie with its tie-in comics, retelling the first series in an alternate way.

It's because I choose the express delivery that I already have it, normal delivery tend to be too nerve-wrecking for me. ^^;
The riot zanber is really big, you really need the little support to maintain it, and some big space if you want to put it in Fate's hand, also the spiky things at the end of the magic of her twin sabers are REALLY spiky, take precaution when putting it on the sabers.
I´m envious, I want this figurine since I saw it, but I dont have job, so no job=no money=no figurines T_T
And I think that anyone of my family or friends could give it to me like a christmas present x_D

The zamber is great but it take too much place, ~30cm long without the handle.
That's why I leave it with the twin sabers in the end.
the zanber sword is the one that makes the figure so special! >.<
Yup, but it needs at least a width of 50cm to not get in the way.
Besides, the twin sabers are badass too, but I wish I could let her with the zamber.
A young woman brandishing a giant two-handed sword higher than herself one-handed is the cream of the crop in badassery, but, sadly, the shelves in my room can't really accomodate it. (T.T)
edit: thanks to you, I thought of another to position Fate, and it accomodate the zamber without getting in the way and keep enough space for my future Nanoha Exceed Mode, so thanks ! (Now I only need a Vivio figure to realise my dream : reuniting the Happy Yuri Family together, kekekeke...)
