I would think is cute if they didn't the same every single time someone new arrives "Oh, we are totally normal, except that of course we aren't!" Gets repetitive

Oh well, the Takamachis are a nice little family. Even I am not as bitter as to deny it

Also... who are they talking with?

There is a handful of new people they train with in the space China arc, the one that is getting translated now.

Chapters 80 and 81 are out in English, marking the end of the Space China arc and the start of the current arc in which Vivio will get to fight Nanoha in an exhibition match. Fun chapters.

It's good to see Vivio wanting to increase her charm, but beating her Fate-mama is an unrealistic goal. Still, if she tries hard maybe she can keep Einhart from getting stolen away by you-know-who.

I guess it is cute, nothing more needs to be said... Bah, you know what? Fuck it, I am not going to just stay silent about this

Memory 80 actually addresses something that has been bothering me ever since the first chapter: Vivio’s apparent lack of talent for hand to hand fight (Which goes on the “tell don’t show” school of poor writing) and her reason to keep going at it regardless. Chinese grandpa speaks with Vivio about it and mentions she could just use a weapon and make it easier.

Vivio refuses however on the ground that she wants to fulfill Nove’s dream of entering a competition (which she can’t because she is a cyborg) and becoming a good counter... also she wants to beat Nanoha and Fate because... I have no idea. I mean it, is like she thinks Nanoha and Fate wanted to make her strong enough to beat them. Chinese old man then says those are valid reasons and then... well, you can see if for yourself.

This is officially when I realize why and how ViVid lost me. On top of the insipid characters, the uninspired “plot” and the blandness of everyone’s relationship... it has the balls to try and sell that to me as a good story. To try and make me think Vivio’s irrelevant and crafted struggle to become a martial artist holds against the pains and suffering Fate, Hayate and the Wolkenritter endure. It isn’t, it will never be and I hate this manga.

TheRon just released the complete Volume 1 of Vivid Life in English:

Vivid LIFE - Volume 1 (English) [ron]

This is a set of funny side stories that take place during the two month timeskip between the mock battle and the first tournament.

Most chapters from this first volume were already translated before, but it's nice to have the complete thing in one place now.

Now, surprisingly enough I actually like these ones. Is actually quite good, fun and entertaining. Just having the girls experience the trials of living in their crazy magical world. I would like to see them try more magical things but this short things are quite nice.

The final Vivid chapter just got released in raw format:
http://lhscans.com/read-mahou-shoujo-lyrical-nanoha-vivid-raw-chapter-102.html

I think not much happened in the last 2 chapters, I was expecting to see Fuuka and Rinne to tie Vivid Strike! in, but at least the Takamachi family scenes look as cute as always and we got a proper ending for this manga that ran for a good 102 chapters.

You mean as the last released chapter or the final chapter as in there won't be more after this? Hmmm... not sure how to feel about it if that is the case

Yes, this is the end of the Vivid manga.
The new manga based on Reflection is starting on December 26th if I understand the last page correctly.

Maybe they will go on with the ViVid Strike! stuff now. Ditching Nanoha and almost all connection to StrikerS, aside from the Numbers and Vivio, then pretend this is all there is

Well, considering Vivid Strike did straight up remove Nanoha's name from the title...

After finishing reading Nanoha Force manga, I do find it more entertaining than StrikerS. Yeah I know TSAB still conscript, and still. In my opinion, this is how you should make real antagonist more of a threat than Jail Scaglietti, especially on the Hades Vandein
(Seed of Origin).

If you guys think Huckebein is the villain. I looking them more like a private organization pursuing to finish Eclipse case as fast as they could but ending it up involving themselves into being falsely viewed as villain and criminal by TSAB due to their inevitable fate and actions they had did in the past. So I can't deny that fact alone was so strong they become into terrorist group by many other describing, including myself.

Well I do admit that Nanoha Force should do some serious improvements especially on more detailed TSAB corruption and involvement creating Eclipse Virus and why they are doing this. The story consistency somehow better than StrikerS, although have some illogical scene where Signum was brutally stabbed and still alive, this need to address. On Hayate-Chan part, I think it is somehow illogical but it was explain by Curren Hückebein why Hayate-chan didn't die by stabbing her directly into her back where almost near to liver, lungs or heart presumably. She did some tricks into it. And this scene obviously showed they really didn't want to get more and more involvements and troubles from TSAB, they just trying their best to minimized unnecessary to pursuing their main goal. It seem Huckebein organisation does have their "Base Code of conduct and goals". I know you will say they created many unnecessarily raids and bombings throughout the whole Force manga, the little girl named Stella Irvine stated so clearly they doing this outside of TSAB involvements. Hückebein in this manga served as "Opposition party" to end Eclipse but getting themselves inevitable involvement on TSAB. There is a chapter where Cypha giving information to Thoma Avenir even though she is so highly aware of Thoma on side with TSAB, yet she still do it.

And if you think isn't Huckebein a terrorist organization, why calling them as "Opposition party/organization". It's quite simple. If there is a party try to overthrow incompetent government with all authority and wealth, the corrupted government will try their worst just in order to maintain their power, even calling them as terrorist or betrayers. Well Huckebein did something terrible things in TSAB however their main focus is not on TSAB but Vaiden Corporation and the seed of origin.

And one thing disturbing me, there is no need to be naked Ok? For safety measure, Huckebein can just leave under-wearings alone on the prisoners and just stop unnecessary naked girls scenes especially on Grendel family. This is not a quality fan-service scene when your story focused more on grimmer and darker tone than its predecessor. These scenes served no purpose at all. When you want to show naked scene with purpose, learn this lesson from Drifters Episode 5. Even Drifters episode 5 didn't get too far on naked showing percentages.
Edit: Somebody help us, whoever still insisting drawing helicopter part, please fire that assistant artist already. Helicopter still that "Shoes Box" design with no real physics, again. No magic support excuse.

So far I can't give final verdict or score since this manga is on hiatus. So I give my opinion on how is the overall manga.

*Somehow mediocre but better than StrikerS
- Hades Vandein is a proper main antagonist before Reflection/Detonation movie

- Have some story focus and consistency

- Showing better corruption concept than StrikerS. "Money is the root of all evil"

- TSAB started to realized their military is incompetent and needed to be address seriously by using technologies and maybe just maybe started to realized "Magic is not Supreme".

- Using Huckebein as a small, private "Opposition party/organization against Vaiden Corporation" yet being criticized heavily by TSAB by their actions that are against TSAB Law.

Temporarily score (This is not final score)
6/10

Additional personal opinion:
-Hayate Chan is so cute when she was being gossiped behind her back as cutie Tanuki (Racoon) commander, and showing her spoiled child smiley face during interrogation with idiot Grendel leader. I think this is fan service part for Hayate fans like me. Well done, well done. I don't like it, I LOVE IT!!

Strategy & Sciences are Foundation of Logic Principles. :P

It's funny and cute as always, also I'm happy that we have Fate playing as Santa for Vivio in canon now, I saw this in the raws before but I forgot until this English release.

They are very cute stories but some of them are very cruel. Like Sieg having no money and living like a hobbo, or Chantez being manipulated and punch on a daily basis

Be sure to not miss it! Vivid Life is one of the most charming parts of the Nanoha franchise without a doubt, it's too good, the only bad thing is that it's over now.

Force should really be erased from Nanoha canon because from what I've heard, it's bad. It seems more like an edgy fanfiction made by an overly angsty teen than a actual entry in the franchise and that's why I avoid it like the plague that it deserves and just pretend it never happened.
