Hello everyone! This short post is to announce that we are looking for an extra editor to give us a hand editing Ameiro's "First Night" doujin (raws are in the first link in this post), and potentially more doujins in the future if you're interested. Previous experience editing is desirable.
Also our group is evaluating if it's possible to do a full translation of the NanoFate wedding anthology "Forever With You" (raws in this post). With our current staff this task would probably be not possible in a reasonable amount of time, so we'll like to know if there are more translators and possibly editors interested in joining us to make a partial or full translation of this book.
If you are interested please post in this thread, preferably, otherwise you can send us a mail.
i love to see it
I-I have a little knowledge in editing. I'll study online tutorials if I have to.
I just checked the doujins and wow.. You weren't kidding about those transparent speak bubbles in First Night. Are the SFXs still needed to be removed too? (just curious) I could handle it but I'm not really confident I could do a good job on it. Though, I'll try my best. I've seen tutorials for those kinds of editing.
As for Forever With You, I could handle that no problem.
Edit: I've tried editing the 3rd page of First Night (if I downloaded it correctly). Here's the sample: http://weiss-ritter.deviantart.com/art/Sample-1-360175633
Tell me if I've edited the transparent bubble right.
The tutorials are strict when it comes to editing so I guess it's fine with me with how things work. Thanks for telling me that though. And yes, I haven't trimmed it out yet, I just worked on the redrawing first. Sorry about that.
Yeah, sure thing. I'll agree to this. I'll just send you my mail via PM then.
Sorry I haven't been too active in the group. I had a good start, too, but I got wrapped up in some work with xYuki and haven't found the time to go in between projects. I'll try to lend a bit more of a hand in things now that my work load has lessened.
I have some knowledge in japanese. Even being busy due that's my first year at college, that would be a nice opportunity to study because I'm graduating in Translation, so... yeah, I can help a little if you guys need some little things?
I noticed Forever With You has short parts. That's good.
Let's go for it,'.. I'll be looking forward to it,'.. ^_^
Righto. I'll try translating in my free-time. May you guys decide to start the project, and if I made some progress I'm sure I'll take it seriously with you then. Just lemme know ;)
About asking the group, where should I ask?
I'm pretty busy with college right now, but that will soon end by the end of this week... for two months only though -_-... so I'm willing to help out in these two months =3. I'll gladly translate any Spanish doujins/novels to English and I have little to no knowledge in editing/cleaning doujins, but I'm willing to try it out and learn =3...
I know I was suppose to help out with proofreading before, but things got hectic with college and couldn't do my work properly. But now that summer break is coming, I'm giving it my all! *burning with determination*
So after talking with Mad about what Editors actually do, I'll help with the Editing and Translating from Spanish to English if there are any doujins like that =3.
Photoshop is like my wife... my hands and tablet are married to each other XD
Yes you did actually =3. I go by the name "Leo" or "Ryoko Shizuka" in google. I wasn't able to bookmark the group to my browser so I was pretty much lost >.<... I didn't get any notification too D=
Well, this is odd. The group's e-mail is neither filtered or put as spam.... odd O.o
AND I found the group. I'll start working as an editor first day of next week =D.
Oh I see, well I'll just prep up the raws and clean it up for typeset so by the time the scripts are done, we can just put everything together, double check everything, and update quick =D... or I'll just wait for the scripts and work once it's done. What do you think?
Oh, about languages, I know portuguese, english and spanish, I'm studying japanese and I'm gonna start german classes. So if you guys need any help, I may be useful... \o
I can help with spanish project The legend of Sword as well. It'll help my spanish that's kinda rusty.
If you still need help, I can edit. Although, I'm still only an amateur.
Yo. /o/ I'm Konagami03's friend, Risa. I believe Haru should know her, kinda? She used to work for NF but because of family issues, she had to quit and migrate out of town.
Most of her work/proofreading were by me (she consulted me because she was not sure of some stuff). Although I could translate, however I might only be free by mid-April as I wait for graduation. However if you need an extra hand in proofreading, I'm very much alright with it. :)
Chinese translator here. As for my Japanese... well... I'm working on that.
Interested in joining if you need help~
If I may jump on the friend acknowledgement train, I met someone who says he works with this site, in ucla's Earth and Space Science computer lab. We talked about NanoFate and Vocaloid, and I invited him to Miku Mondays, but he sadly declined.
Now that I'm out of school, and, after watching the 2nd Movie, gobbling up countless Nanoha thre/a/ds, I came across this site. I've heard good things about this community from 4chan (go figure), and I definitely appreciate the free doujinshi scanlation and distribution, so I'd like to be a part of the help effort. I can into both kanas, and a bit of kanji, but my jp is limited. I can help with some grunt work like cleaning and proofreading if help is needed.
Let me know if you'd like my services, since I ask for nothing but acknowledgement in return, only so that I can prove my experience for later scanlation work.
