Today I noticed that some spammers are attacking the forum :(

Would be great if we had an 'report' button (usually a "!" red), so the members that saw it could report the post to some mods, and they could delete it faster...
Even if I know that 2 spammers in one day its not a big deal, but God knows what will happen if they really start to post here :(

i agree with Fate, i've also been noticing this. I think her idea is a great idea. I dont want to keep seeing spamers all the time, it can get really annoying, with all the emails, and stuff.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I don't think that a report button would make the moderation faster. I read most if not all of the messages when I get online, and I always check this page, so spotting spam is actually pretty easy with this level of activity.

Don't worry, that happens sometimes when the pages doesn't load immediately and the user clicks more than once. I deleted your message, users can't delete their own posts to avoid inconsistencies when their posts have replies.

(Chuckles to itself)

Oh dear, a spam bot appears to be dumping it's messages on a thread concerning the activities of spam bots dumping their messages in the site. This box thinks it's a bit funny, no?

I wonder if we should get those CAPTCA things or some other kind of anti-bot measure to stop spam-bots registering new accounts and littering the site every now and again.

...

Of course, this box doesn't really mind the spam bots too much since it's somewhat amused by their antics~ X3

Cardboard box is here!

CAPTCHA is enabled on the site for non registered users, but when there are real people that get actually paid to solve CAPTCHAs so bots can spam, there is not much we can do. What scares me is that I once tested a personalized security question that was related to the series and not easy to answer via Google, and the bots solved it within the same day.

There's only one way to stop these spammers:
RELEASE THE KRAKEN!!!

Q: Where am I?
A: Everywhere.
