Recalling, when did you started to fall in love with Nanoha and Fate, progressing until now? Yay, Story time! :D

Well, I started watching anime on TV and really had it going when there is former Crunchyroll with unlimited streaming anime.
Thanks to my lovely friend Ria who recommended me nanoha I won't even have thought of watching it.
Oh god I fell in love with the story and concept, started to like the characters and reallyyy wanted to know how they ended up. Which then i got invited to Nanofate.us

Thank you for your guidance, Xammy~

I'm not exactly sure how, but somehow I watched the First and Second seasons of the series on justdubs.net, and boy, did I get into it
everyday after school I would rush home and continue watching the episodes because I kinda loved the story and concept
How I discovered this site is also kind of a mystery, or more accurately, I forget how I ended up here, but I'm glad I discovered this site now!

Q: Where am I?
A: Everywhere.

hmm... back to the day I discover the first season and wait for it to out on youtube everyweek, my first impress of it was Fate (her love for Precia and her mystery aura) and the action, "Oh my, this have to be the best action scene for a mahou shoujo anime that I have ever seen. It too good, just too good, like a shoujo and shounen anime mix together." that what I thought. And then my love for Nanoha and Fate (especially Fate) grow more and more.

And it seem like every season of Nanoha can make me cry. The first is because of Fate, then the last scene of Reinforce, also the scene of Nanoha and Vivio. The family in the third really make me smile, it is just too cute >.<

After StrikerS my love for them still growing but stop in the last days of 2009 when discover something else, I still love them then but it stop going bigger. Then, I stop going to forum to watch discussion too (I like watching them not joining because I quite dull lol), and content with what I had. Like that, I feel like I have abandon the Nanoha for 2 years and some months (guilty). Some month ago, when I thought the love have faded, I decided to watch the movie, and it come back to me full force. I cry when watching it, one is because of Fate (again) and one is because I feel like having found some lost love and the guilty, regret for have abandon it more than 2 years. So I go watching all three seasons again and now the love is growing again lol. This is my first time got hook on something all over again like this lol.

I first heard about MGLN... somehow. I actually don't remember! XD

At first I was like "Oh, it's a magical girl show" and I ignored it for a while. However, when I heard that it was darker than most shows I got interested in it and bought the box set.

So I watched it and honestly, it was kinda boring. It came to the point where the only reason I was watching the show was because I bought it and I might as well get my money's worth.

It wasn't until Precia starts whipping Fate that I actually started liking the show. Which is why I like Precia so much and why I'm also so excited about seeing Fate suffer~

--

I decided to get A's, since I got the first series and I enjoyed that more or less.

Bought it, watched it, quit.

...

Yep, I could not get through A's. My ability to give a damn just straight out plummeted to zero and I stopped watching it for weeks.

I finally got around to watching it because like hell I'm going to let this box set sit there collecting dust when I paid good money for it.

So I watch it and I watch it...

See, here's the thing about MGLN in general: the second half is awesome. The first half is a damn struggle to get though.

That's... actually why I haven't gotten around to watching StrikerS yet. I've tried and I get bored so I quit. I've completely forgotten most of it now >_>;;

In my opinion, continue watching StrikerS
I agree with you, the first Half of StrikerS is really, and I mean really, kinda boring to get through, but once you get to the second half, It starts to pick up and become less boring

Q: Where am I?
A: Everywhere.

Out of curiosity, why do you like to see Fate suffer? :|

LOL sorry but I think me as well as many people here don't really like that (even hate to see Fate got torture), I think it just because the charactor who has a suffer past or life make more impact to fans, everyone have some pity part of their heart that want to give the charactor something they seem to lack - love. Also see that even if Fate got abuse, she still love her "mother" with all her heart (still so even in StrikerS and maybe forever). All of that seem to touch my (or our?) heart greatly. Not to mention her mistery, lonely aura in the 1st, her cool-self in the rest that make me queak (fan-girl mode: ON) too lol

Because I am an evil, EVIL cardboard box.

...

Okay, serious time. It's not so much the hurting that I'm interested in so much as what happens afterwards. I'm just really stunned by how unbelievably loyal Fate is to Precia.

In fact, I think that Precia would have won if she didn't fall into Imaginary Space, simply because I highly doubt Fate has it in her to attack Precia.

I guess I'm just moved at how much loyalty seems from Fate. Jeremiah would be proud.

I've yet to make it past StrikerS too, I'll have to force myself to finish them ASAP.

Actually, I only WATCH the StrikerS after the movie (mean some months ago), I sometime fast-forwarded it when I first see it lol

But I recomment to ACTUALLY watch it, because when I did, I can see more depth of each charactor, and also realize that there are many important details that I had miss too.

PS: sorry if I made any confusing because I'm not a native english-speaker ^^

Well the way I found Nanoha was when I was interested for the Jap voice actors and actresses for a certain show called Naruto.(You might of heard of it) I came to Yukari Tamura and Nana Mizuki and I looked at their songs and Nanoha kept coming up. Then I was like, "if you want me to watch it so bad then I will."

The first series was kinda boring at first till Fate came and joined the party and it just turned epic.

The second series was just brilliant.

The third series the first half was just boring but the second half was quite good.

I'm somewhat of an oddity as I first got interested in MGLN by reading their doujins. Then one day I was bored and with nothing else to do and I decided to actually watch the anime, which I did, all three seasons one after the other in a neverending Nanoha marathon. XD

I found the Doujins first too!! I was confused and started digging though the websites until I found the anime was MGLN. Then on one afternoon I started watching it! At first, I actually thought it was pretty rubbish, but I stuck with it and now I love it to bits!!! XD

...I started the series because of NanoFate, not the contrary. I knew the fandom for this yuri pairing was huge so I decided after many hesitations (magical girl repelled me) to watch it. It took me two weeks to watch the three seasons, with school. This is embarrassing >.>
I like big explosions, and those were some great battle, especially the 'Starlight Breaker' end :D
And tejinashi, I enjoyed Fate being whipped for the sake of suffering xD And there wasn't enough blood.

Xammy's always welcome to guide Sammy. x3

First of all, why did Sammy take off lovely GF instead of lovely friend? Are you that scared to show our relationship to everyone? Lol, just kidding. >;D

Hmm...I've known Nanoha ever since it was streaming in Crunchyroll where the English subs were released. The first time I've seen Nanoha, I was never interested in it since it was a magical girl. *Not much of a fan of magical girls* Honestly, I then saw three seasons available in Crunchyroll. I saw the young woman with blond hair and blood-shot eyes. Still remember how I've seen a screenshot and a video clip of episode two where Fate was worried for Nanoha. "Are you sure you'll be alright?" "I'm fine, Fate-chan. You know how I'm strong." "I'm worried for you because you're my best friend." Oh, somewhere between those words. And when I saw them, I thought they were a couple. o.O

@Natus: Okay, that makes more sense. I thought it was a very tragic moment and liked it in that regard. But it wasn't so much enjoying her being whipped as it was Fate accepting it and thinking she deserved it on the notion that she thought her dear Precias logic couldn't possibly be wrong.

I used to watch everything and anything, so it was only natural that I would eventually come across the Nanoha series. I don't particularly remember what my first impression of the series was, but I do recall it getting better once Fate showed up. Admittedly, at first I thought Fate was just a mean girl, but as the episodes progressed my unhealthy obsession with her continued to grow...Tragic, loyal, beautiful...All very endearing qualities. So I guess Fate is what really kept me interested in the franchise.

I obviously like the NanoFate pairing as well. It's just that the series as a whole was never all that appealing to me. Altthough A's was a great series on its own merits...The rest always needed that extra kicker which was Fate.

If I remember correctly, my sister actually recommended watching it or something. I watched the first two seasons, read the manga and that was actually about it. Until.. A few months later maybe? I found a few pictures of it, I don't know how, and thought "Oh hey, they look cute together, now that I see all these." Hence the doujins, FFs, etc.. xD

Frankly I dislike Magical Girl genres, and I actually dodge this anime for a while. It wasn't until I started obsessing over Yuri after reading Sasameki Koto and Girlfriends and started yearning for more Yuri goodness that I found MGLN after reading a Signum/Fate Doujin.... I just randomly downloaded whatever Yuri doujin I found in Shoujo-Ai archive, that being the SigFate Doujin and ALOT of NanoFate Doujins. My first impression of the SigFate doujin wasn't good and I didn't find the couple appealing despite the amazing artwork. When I started reading the NanoFate Doujins, I really like it! Especially Lorely, my first NanoFate Doujin. I really found the couple extremely appealing the chemistry was just intense! After a while, I moved on to a different Doujin completely unrelated to Nanoha. It wasn't until a few weeks later after listening to Nana Mizuki's take a shot that I started watching Nanoha. This was before obsessing myself with NanoFate fics XD... so of course when I started Nanoha that I got super excited when Nanoha finally meets Fate, and how she described the blonde made me squeel like a fangirl. XD I started obsessing it, and then after first and second season, I started looking for this site. I found it through Satashi's fics actually XD. I didn't really register until I got really tempted to talk to other NanoFate fans XD. So here I am, a proud and obsessed fan, worshiping the couple XD. Fate's my favorite by the way 'cause she's cool, awesome, funny in a way, and incredibly sexy and hot. XD

Confession bear time...

I don't actually like the show. I find the animation really sloppy. While at times it's super awesome and well animated (mostly Fate's and Hayate's scenes), it also has those derpy scenes when you really look for it. Also the whole concept of child soldiers really threw me in for a loop. I enjoyed how it was about magical girls and stuff, but then it became Star Trek...

That aside, I guess I enjoy the fanworks. The doujins, fanfictions, and art really got me. :T The merchandise is pretty meh, but as a figure-whore I can't help but buy them.

Hrmmm...how I got into the series huh? *Time travels back*

TV: So, Tamura-san you are going to be playing a lead role huh? You think this is a lucky break?

Tamura: Yes, I am glad to have taken part in this series. I like the character and I hope that everyone does as well.

Me: Freaking Cat! (Yelling at Natsuki) Quit jumping on the remote! *looks back at the TV* Huh...a magical girl show. *sees a few scenes* The hell? Those look like Gundam battles...interesting.

Natsuki (the cat): *glares* Translation: You're welcome...now feed me. -.-

Shizuru (other cat): Keikaku dori~ Translation: http://tinyurl.com/bpzvm4k

Fell in love with the doujin first then the fanfics...
Not really an avid fan of the anime... But I'd say I'm a Fate fan! Fate's cool. Bardiche too.

Hm... I was 15 when I was bored and perusing through the internet. I somehow found a yuri site since I was trying to recall that one show where I thought, "That's strange. Are those really two girls kissing?" which I now know as the anime series "Yami to Boshi to Hon no Tabibito". Basically, I was curious and searched it up, ended up on dynastyscans, found a doujinshi, and read it. Although, it was totally unrelated to the one I was meaning to find seeing as it was an 18+ doujinshi by Tokoharu called 'Naked Feels", that's what started my interest in NanoFate. Before I knew it, I fell in love with the couple, searched it up, found the series, watched it, and eventually learned of the existence of FanFiction, which I totally just went and bombarded on along with Hoshimi, who I dragged into my first story and... Yeah... :/ Lol. Explanation short: You never know what you can find on the internet. ~.~ Surprise, surprise~ XP

When I'm bored... :/

I think the doujins overpowered the series XD Magical Girl genre repels people. If NanoFate doujins never existed, who knows what will happene to the anime XD

End of September 2010, I was still discovering the greatness of Yuri genre. Recalling hearing somewhere about a subtextish magical girls show with 'lyrical' in it's name, I thought it'd be a sin to not check it out. I watched the first series in one Sunday, bringing the second one a few days later and watching it 'till I finished at 2am. StrikerS took me a little longer while but one weekend was enough to finish the whole thing. And so there it was, marked as 'completed' on my list. Yes, Fate was awesome.

Exactly year later, I watched the whole series once again, this time with my younger cousin. The Movie 1st followed quickly and I couldn't help but get closer to the series, finally acknowledging the awesomeness of NanoFate, but still only getting to read some doujins during the following winter.

February 2012, last night of winter holidays, 2am. Something told me to go to MGLN section at Fanfiction.net. One of the recently updated fics: "Prerogative of the brave" by deathcurse. Aaaaand after getting to read this fanfic I immediately knew I had sold my soul to White Devil. Not only have I become a fan of Vivio x Hayate, but also I got myself more into NanoFate, quickly getting to read Satashi's great fanfics and finding this very site.

Tl;dr: My MGLN obsession is now ~10 months old thanks to fanfiction ^^

Actually I love reading lesbian fanfics especially XWP, Xena Warrior Princess then somehow during internet surfing I kinda remember some anime that hinted on lesbian (Sailor Moon, Mai Hime etc) then I first learned of 'yuri world'.. that was like opening me to another new world. I come to this site first lililicious.net they have tons of yuri stuffs, from there I discover this site Nanofate.us that solely dedicated to this lovely pair and like greedy person I am, I'm hooked and thats when I start searching for MSLN series to really know and understand the real story and getting know these lovely characters.

I didn't disappointed in the series since it got nice artworks and action filled plot but somehow still lacking in some..thing.. ;)

Well, I first started watching while looking for Yuri anime to be honest. It was about a year ago now. . and I watched the first season and well in love with Fate. I went onto the other two and fell in love with the pairing. Along with various other characters. I then went onto read a crap load of fan fiction loll and my obsession continued from there :)

I'm an old man who likes seeing two naked girls colliding with each other.

Alright, that's a joke. Being a creepy old man aside, I was just randomly looking for Yuri-themed animes in Yurigirl's blog around October last year then end up finding this and ShizNat. Though, I'm not that much of a ShizNat fan since I got bored at Mai-Otome. I'm currently addicted to NanoFate because of Fate. She's like, almost perfect.

How old are we talking here? I know a few pretty old NanoFate fans. I'm 26 myself, though I guess I'm still pretty young.

Oooh. Someone got curious. I'm afraid, I would prefer to hide my real age (embarrassing reasons). And yes, you're still pretty young milady.
