Fair enough, though I know some fans in their late 50's, so it's nothing to be embarrassed about.

I was in the series when I was 14 or 15 I think. I'm now 17 so I'm probably still one of the youngest here!

Q: Where am I?
A: Everywhere.

Ah lucky you. I'm an old man already when I first found the series so I'm probably one of the oldest.

I became NanoFate aware when I finished A's and started obsessively collecting NF pics. I wasn't even a yuri fan

Spoiler:
I actually used to HATE it.

and I'm still not but NanoFate has an extraordinary special exception in my heart.

Thinking about it now, it was a pretty amusing experience since discovering NanoFate caused me to have a bunch of internal complexes about my interests and sexuality. Five or six years later, I'm still a fan and have found a comfortable medium about it.

I just breezed through the first series, forgot it about then after A's came out. THAT's when I started to become the raving nanofate fan that I am today. :D

I can still remember it like it was yesterday.

I was watching Uta Kata when I saw an interesting Video Link on the right side. It was the time when YouTube wasn't that ridiculously bad in germany as it is nowadays. (Pretty much 66% of the good youtube videos are banned nowadays in Germany)

Anyway, the Video Link was an AMV about Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha.
I was always a little hesistant about watching these kind of Animes. Even with Uta Kata. But Uta Kata was one of those Anime's that (in my opinion) had a good story.

So I thought to myself: Who cares, just give it a try.

Today I'm glad that I did.

Even though the series started off slow for me, once Fate entered the Series I immediately got hooked. So what happened? I pretty much watched the hole season even though it was like 1 hour after midnight and I had to stand up early.

Nanoha is one of those Animes that you just can't stop watching once you get hooked because of so many reasons. It makes you cheer for the protagonist, but also makes you feel so sorry for the Antagonist (Fate for the 1st season, the Wolkenritter for the 2nd)

I don't know how often I watched this series and how often it made me cry. Animes and movies in general should do this approach more often. In my opinion a "villain" is only good if he/she has a good motive.

Also, and this is probably the most important thing, Nanoha and Fate are probably the best couple in Anime I've ever seen. Even without them kissing even once in the series, the tension between those two in a lot of the scenes is so big, they simply don't even need to kiss in order to proof that they are indeed in love with each other.

The hints are pretty much all over the place and everyone who's ever been in love probably knows what I'm talking about.

This was my first post and I've been babbling so much ^^ I hope you guys don't mind haha

Well I only saw the series for the first time earlier this year. I'd heard of the series long before that, but had never bothered to watch it as I had a billion mecha series I determined that I needed to watch at the time. Once I had pretty much run out of good mech shows to watch I had decided that I should really watch some more magical girl series (largely brought on by watching Puella Magi Madoka Magica and Magic Knight Rayearth and adoring them) and the constant descriptions of Nanoha as "a magical girl that thinks shes a gundam" were to intriguing to resist. So I watched the first series and liked it well enough, it was A's that got me completely obsessed. Then about a week after being semi-disappointed with StrikerS I suddenly had the urge to go and ingest all official Nanoha material (which I did). After about two weeks of not having any new material to indulge in I began having what could best be described as a sort of Nanoha withdrawal and began looking into fanworks to sate my appetite (something I virtually never do). One thing led to another and I ended up on this site and made this post. I'm honestly not a hundred percent sure why I like the series as much as I do. I guess its just cause it got magical girls, its got explosions, its got an endless stream of yuri and I mean what more could you want from a series?

Ohhhh boy this is going to be fun.

Well to begin I first heard about the Nanoha anime from a friend when I was back in school. He had shown me the opening of StrikerS which he came across while we on YouTube at our old school (It was coming to the end of the day). Now we both sat down and watched it and I wasn't really that interested at the time. During the time I think I may have been watching either Clannad or Buso Renkin but I can't really remember but at the time I didn't really pay much attention to the Nanoha series.

A few weeks after I went on to youtube and signed into my account and found a video in the recommended section titled Nanoha the Abridged Series Episode 1. I watched it just for the hell of it, but not long after I decided to check the actual series and I enjoyed it. I had decided to continue watching moving onto A's and StrikerS and after watching both I fell in love with the franchise.

Nanoha was and has always been my all time favorite character through out the entire series and Fate is my second most favorite, as for my support for NanoFate it started when I discovered this site which was about two to three years ago I think I don't really remember that. But this site was awesome back then and it still is now.

Overall the Nanoha franchise is one of the best Anime/Manga franchises out there and I will always support it.

i think i just started watching nanoha a few months ago after finish watching madoka.

i have a friend that watch nanoha before a few years back and he recommend me to watch, but back than i wasn't interested in the anime. so this year, my cousin recommend me watching madoka and i have to say it's good.
so what the heck, may as well try watching nanoha too than and it's amazing.
i really like the story for the 1st and the 2nd season.
the 3rd season was kinda boring on the first half that i have to fast forward for some of the episodes. but the 2nd half is actually better because it actually shows the full power of the captains fight.

If I remember correctly, one day I was cheking website about anime and I come acros a review of the 2nd movie and the original series, it was rather interesting and I decided to watch this anime, from the 1st episode I watched I know tha this anime will be my number 1 for a long time (my previous no.1 was Sailor Moon).

PS. I'm sorry if my english is bad (I'm living in Poland)

Well, I guess the way I discovered the series is weird. I was in the International Saimoe League site seeing pictures of the winners. Basically, a photo of Fate was there. Initially, I simply ignored it since I'm not much to watch magical girls. Some months later, I saw a doujinshi called "Betrayers" and I decided to see the show. Since then I fell in love with the entire franchise and all the characters (aka Fate).

Sorry, english is not my native language but I try...

I heard about the anime quite a while ago, i decided to buy it from ebay after being unable to get it from any of my usual sites, turns out that the seller just got fan subbed episodes.

i'm a major lover of Shoujo Ai/Yuri and i could see a lot of love between Nanoha and Fate in A's, i was downloading stuff from Yuri-ism and saw the cover of Nanoha and Fate with a little girl and was thinking "oh my god, they get a daughter!"

naturally i learned the little girl was Vivio in StrikerS and i could see Fate and Nanoha getting closer, especially after that scene where Nanoha is crying on the balcony because Vivio is scared and was calling out for her mamas when Jail broadcasts Vivio being connected to Saint Cradle.

I went to download translated Doujin but the site i was getting them from, at one point i couldn't download anymore unless i went into each paged and saved the images, sucked but i looked up the scanlator which was NanoFate, checking out the site i downloaded every release i could, mainly using the mirrors i was forced to use the NanoFate links closer to the bottom of the list. i got every release here except the ones here http://nanofate.us/content/nsfw-not-nanofate-pack-18 because none of the links work (if someone could direct me to where i could get then i can say i have everything from NanoFate)

I also created a selenium script which allowed me to automatically download every image off the gallery and whenever a new one is posted i download it right away.

Since i'm a lover of all Shoujo Ai/Yuri it would only be a matter of time before i became a fan of the Nanoha x Fate pairing.

We usually don't take responsibility for hosting the releases made by other groups, I would repuload them and share a link with you but I didn't save the particular ones you're asking for.

Ages ago, I was quite into that game called StepMania, like DDR but japanese, and I downloaded a pack of anime songs to play. While attempting "Pray" by Mizuki Nana, I noticed the background video was quite cool (it was that scene from StrikerS where the song plays) so I looked at the picture and all I had to go on was "StrikerS". So I googled it and was hooked. about 5 episodes in I realised that it was series 3 of 3, so I watched a bit of 1 but couldn't stand the childishness, so I watched the film instead when it came out and watched series 2 as well. I watched the 2nd movie when that came out as well and have only just got round to watching the rest of series 1. Safe to say I am completely hooked and beginning to design my own projects around it, I already have a start orb up on my deviantart and my friend is working on a raising heart mod for source! I totally ship NanoFate, even though I am not usually into Yuri. Sorry for rambling!

I think it was about a year ago when I first heard about Nanoha. I was scanning through reviews for different animes, trying to find a new one to watch. So then I accidentally discovered this giant Madoka VS. Nanoha debate. Everyone on the page, except a few loyal Nanoha fans, said Madoka was better. So I was like, "Hey, I'll watch both and see which one is better." Nanoha is way better... Plus as a yuri/shoujo-ai lover I just fell in love with the NanoFate pairing! I have seen all three seasons but none of the movies. Are they worth watching? I've had them on my watch list forever and just never got around to it.

Yes they are, the movies are worth the watch in my books. They are retellings of the first two seasons, but are perfectly enjoyable all around.

A: Everywhere.

Hi! I joined today and found this site just yesterday-- already forgot how, eheh. OMFG an entire WEBSITE devoted to FeiNano?! yushplzthx OTP alert:DDD Nice to meet everyone~ *bows*

I think I discovered MGLN around 2007 or so. My BFF from Gaia Online introduced me when I saw some of her fav FeiNano fanart and asked who they were. Being a shoujo-ai fanatic (as well as a lesbian XD) she had previously gotten me hooked on Kannazuki no Miko, which was my gateway shoujo-ai anime that I squeed all over, so I trusted her judgment when she recommended Nanoha to me.
It only took an episode+1/2 for me to fall in love, although honestly it was more likely within the first five minutes-- whenever Nanoha first spoke. Yukari Tamura's voice is wonderful and I instantly thought "Aaaaahhgg too CUTE~" After that the plot and characters yadayada YAY MAGIC BATTLES AWESOME.
As for FeiNano specifically, I can't remember if I slowly warmed up to it or what But I'm virtually sure the last episode catapulted them into my number 1 shoujo-ai pair (not that I have many ^_^U), like my friend. Sure, it could be construed as deep friendship, but in my melting heart of hearts I was all "They're *~destined~* to be together look at them MY SWEET BABIES T_T"
I immediately gobbled up Asu~ and StrikerS, though I don't remember how soon after the first series. Of course by then the series made up the bulk of the shoujo-ai pairs on my endless shipping list. Eff yeah, Signum/Shamal! Etc...

Welcome to the site.

FeiNano? It's rare for people to call the pairing by that name, but I like it. :3

Thank you n_n

Nya ha ha~ :D I dunno, I like how FeiNano sounds a little better. Also put Fate first because I imagine her to be the seme "leader"/"top" most of the time for some reason. Even though I usually try to reject the whole notion lately...

I prefer NanoFate. Mainly since Nanoha's the main character, so it makes sense to have her first. Also, kinda funny you mention who's on top. Usually Nanoha is portrayed as being dominant, since she's the one who makes friends with violence while Fate's the one used to being whipped, but recently I was thinking about how Nanoha got extremely obsessed with Fate only after Fate kicked her ass, so Nanoha's probably got some masochism in her, too (though she likely only shows it to Fate).

I just think it's NanoFate because it sounds the best, no other meaning behind it. FateNano doesn't sound right. FeiNano is a little better but then you need to spell Fate the way it sounds and not how it's actually spelled.

As for being on top..Fate looks more dominant than Nanoha, her personality just says otherwise...So it can go either way depending how you want to interpret it.

let's see...
at first i was intrigued by Fate Testarossa (the name only, weird huh?), who appeared in Nanoha x Illya Crossover (Fate/Kaleid Liner Prisma Illya). That was during my first year of high school, i think.
Then i tried to search and download the anime, from season 1 through 3. i fell in love with it after finishing the first series. it has an unique concept of combining magic with technology (correct me if i'm wrong) at the same time, in which most of anime (at the time) denies it, stating: if magic exist then technology advancement become inhibited (and vice versa).
the story is very interesting and captivating? (i am not sure if this is appropriate). and i fall in love in the characters right away, all of them (mostly Nanoha and Fate).
after the second time i watched the whole series, i become curoius about whether it has manga adaptation too (which i didn't think about at first). and i stumbled upon this website. to tell you the truth, i am more of a fan of good stories, than of a certain genre (like yuri), but i enjoy each and every one of the doujinshi and novels (oneshots or not) found here or any other sites. really, thank you very very much for your hard work.

and after the watching the movie 1st and 2nd, i fell more deeply in love with the series. can't wait for the next movie to be aired.

i am now 23, and have already re-watched/re-read the whole series 4 times and re-read the manga (including doujinshi) for god knows how many times.

note: i have just finished listening the sound stage ^^

oh, and i can definitely notice Yukari Tamura's and Nana Mizuki's voices in other anime now ^^

Full Power, Full Force. No Holds Barred
