I've been lurking around the image gallery here for a few weeks, but I only recently finished StrikerS, and I want to continue Nanoha. Now, I know of the sound stages, Vivid, and Force, and was wondering 3 things:
1, is the manga continuity close enough to the anime continuity that I can just jump into the manga 3/5s the way through and still understand everything that's going on? Or are there significant things in the manga that didn't happen in the anime and vice-versa?
2, is Force worth it? I know a little bit about it and how it's regarded as the worst in the franchise, but I'd like some more details about it before I make my decision.
3, Where may I find all of these with translations?
Thank you in advance! And sorry if I post this in the wrong section or something.

Mh... I don't understand your first question very well, but if you watched StrikerS you can either read Vivid or Force and you will not be missing anything I think. Strikers, Vivid and Force are mostly self contained stories. And about the later, I would recommend that you decide by yourself. I dropped it by chapter 3 or so.

okay, so the anime and manga pretty much follow the same timeline? Just asking because one anime I watched, called Mai HiME, had a manga that wasn't even remotely similar to the anime (except characters) and just wanted to make sure Nanoha wasn't like that too.
On Force, I guess I'll just check it out last

Yes, it's everything in the same timeline, except the movie manga.

Basically, Vivid and Force are totally different stories, just like A. said. As for A's or StrikerS manga, they give more additional informations about the series. For example, in A's manga we can see Fate taking a test for a higher rank while StrikerS manga tells more about Subaru and Teana's past. It's not only that of course, both StrikerS and A's manga are worth reading, as well as The Movie 1st manga, though it goes a little differently.

As for Vivid and Force... Again, it's like A. said, you should decide yourself. Just be warned, if you expect something as good as tv series, you may be disappointed.

You can find all manga here, here is just Vivid.

Translations for sound stages are here.

ok thanks. I already have an idea of what they are, so I'm not too worried about Vivid (Force a little though)
