I wanted to discuss this for a while now and since I've been absent over the years on main discussions I thought "Hey, why not start a new thread?" hence me writting down this.

For years I have looked at the Hückebein, the Force main villian family, and thought to myself:

"Wow, what a wasted potential"

To be frank, the Hückebein are all over the place with their owers, capabilities and personallity, to the point that I am mixing up at least three of the new characters with characters from Dog Days, which ironically has a much better villian pool.

When I started Force all those years back, I saw the Hükebein as a group of badguys for the sake of having badguys -Not helping was the fact that Signum went out like a chump and the main trio was religated to the status of side-characters- and Touma as a sort of wishfulfillment character for the male audience (basically a fear of a harem setting out of frigging nowhere which ironically came true in the strangest of places).

But that is a discussion for anohter day.

What I wanted to talk about was for us to come up with ways the Hückebein could have been better villians!

So as a way to start: Why don't we make the Hückebein the same as Hayate?

I don't mean the same setting as her but more in line of what she is.

Hayate Yagami in the canon of MSLN s called a "Living Lost Logia" (Triple L) in short which means that the Lost Logia "The book of darkness/The tome of the Night Sky" fused/bonded with her hence the nickname and the recognition to be one of the most powerful mage alive.

So with that said, what Lost Logia's should we fuse the Hückebein family respectively with?

Depends really what your aim with them is. Making them as Hayate with a Lost Logia wouldn’t really add much to them. And they do have that White Bible Cross thing… so there is that for them already. The issue seem to be the author love his new bad guys so much he forgot to include the heroes.

And that's just the thing. From what I had in mind was for example:

Curren Hückebein, user of the Bible of the silver cross, bonded with the lost logia and mutated her body in a certain way e.g. what happened with ReinforceI when it got corrupted into the book of Darkness.

I might upload a picture of an alternate version of Hayate that I have done, a version that wasn't saved from the corrupted Book and "changed"

That would make them change a lot however. The Hückebein seem to be in control of their bodies and forms, not hinder in the slightest by their Eclipse Virus. So if Curren were to be possess by the Bible it would make her more like the Lost Logia is the one driving them forward.

The only cure for the villains of Force is for all of them to get punched in the face.

To be fair that seems to be the cure for anythin in this franchise. From mind control to cursed fate

Unless it's kill all the Hückebein and Grendels and replace them with better villains, not much can be done at this point.

Q: Where am I?
A: Everywhere.

How about reworking them into vampires? Erasing the Grendels is a must anyway but I do beieve the Hückebein have potential...which is wasted as long as they are this boring and generic villian trope.

You want vampires in the Nanoha series...? Why?

Mainly because it would justefy why the Hückebein would need violence and blood fromtheir victims, not some stupid virus that makes people stronger and makes them edge lords on steriods.

I think there are vampires. Suzuka's family on Earth were something like that, not from Nanoha but from the other game that originally had the Takamachi. In fact its why Suzuka is stronger and faster than even Fate as we see in the A's manga

I was thinking more in line of artificial Vampiristic traits due to froceful instertion of Lost logias which destroys their bodies if they don't have a steady intake of blood or other froms of energetic fuel.
