Agree there, being better than StrikerS is not what makes it good and like I say just because something else has defects the ones here disappear. However my point is that the story can be even worse when they want to, so the Movie A’s is still enjoyable despite some flaws. Now we are going to get a 3rd movie and, in surprising good news, won’t have the Forwards. That is a positive change.

There you have it "original". I can't put that word with the Forward's names on the same sentence.

I just read through the last page in this thread, I am sacrificing more and more chickens just to make sure that the third movie really pushes through.(wondering how many should I decapitate)

I finally got to see the movie, sad it took me this long to see but I thought it was fantastic. I really liked how all the scenes Whee done except the change to the upgrade scene. I didn't feel it was a rushed movie as some of you are saying, no the knights didn't get as much screen time as the show but nobody did. If you can really tell me you felt it was rushed go watch a Gundam movie (F91 being the ultimate) to see what a rushed story is. No major part of the story was missing, changes where made such as the twins (which where never essental to the plot in the first place) and I liked Fates intro more in the movie than the show, it made more sense to me and they got some time together before everything starts and that hug!!, in the show yeah fate had a nice "I heard you call me" but there was so little after.

Edit: did they transition Fate taking Harlaown as her last name to the first movie? It's been a while since I was it and was waiting for it to happen in this one

Come on Aki, even I think this is getting a bit too worked over a single fact. At least I do over the entire thing. Signum loosing was a little odd, consider she did against generic one eye Cypha and so far seems to not care but is over now. Force is still going on.

On the other hand I really didn’t see this Wolkenritters as particularly bad for that matter. In a sense it does fit they won’t listen to others worlds. Is just a thing to get worked over the fact they seem more selfish on this version because, in the end, they were being selfish. In a sense they did need to stop hearing their own morality and perform acts none of them really approve: attack mages that did nothing to them, kill beast, disobey their master’s direct orders and lie to her… you get the point.

Also all characters lost dignity since they became mere faces with exchangeable lines of dialogue. I mean that, just read the dialogue and change the faces, you will have problems finding a scene when it really matters who is saying what.

For all the things that happen on this movie, the biggest problem is the adaptation. The shorter time and the necessity to repeat the same order as the series, means this will have characters act one way for 10 minutes, resolve its problem and then go with a new one in what it seems a rather short time. The plot needed some work and the pacing change. Also less focus on pointless Chrono and more on the real characters, we lost a lot of time with his scenes that end in a disappointing resolution. So, really, I like the movie and the characters on it just fine. I think they didn’t execute things well.
