I remember a while ago (back when I was still lurking, I believe) seeing multiple people use that phrase, or a similar phrase, to describe Fate's, ahem, "assets". Ever since then I took extra fascination with that part of her, but so far I haven't really seen any NanoFate doujin that put too much emphasis on it. Some nice shots of it, sure, but nothing where Nanoha seemed to care much about it. Does anyone know of any?
There's probably a pre-existing thread that would be appropriate for this request, but I'm afraid it'd just be overlooked if it was a simple comment (which has happened to me before).
I think this was a thing on the west, I don't remember any NanoFate doujins about that specifically. But then again most of the doujins we get are safe.
It was the series itself that made people start calling Fate's ass a "miracle of the universe" -- There were some screenshots from the series where she was more than well endowed down there, even as a child. It's just hard to find them unless you're looking closely because they only take up a frame or two at a time. Mostly when she's in combat (because her barrier jackets bottom half was a thong in the series... :3)
If you want a doujin that emphasizes Fate's delicious booty then search for the artist "ishigaki takashi" or Type-G (his group name)
Although words of warning, the doujins are not NanoFate, they're straight pairings. And a few of them have a bit of rape if I recall.
Oddly enough, I can't think of any NanoFate doujins that puts a large emphasis on Fates ass. Probably because they tend to be more innocent and fluffy.
No thanks. That's exactly what I wanted to AVOID. I figured the straight pairings would get better treatment, but that doesn't matter, Nanoha and Fate belong together, and separating them would be like separating my jaw bone from my skull.
I agree, though it doesn't bother me much in doujin since it's non-canon.
It's up to the producer to decide the one true pairing. NanoFate are protected by copyright laws, what we see in doujin doesn't have any legitimacy to it. It may not be any less "real" than Canon, but it is still less true than it. Anyone can grab a pen and paper and sketch whatever they like and be about whoever they like, but unless the characters and concepts they came up with are original (unless it's non-fiction) then there is no basis to them.
That tvtropes article just sounds like something to make the "losing party" feel better. Sure, you can use your imagination for any number of new possibilities with an unoriginal idea, but they're all a fabrication until stated otherwise by its creator. There is only one truth to everything.
Well, the Japanese aren't the only ones who make fan comics, and even if we mostly get safe stuff as a site, that doesn't mean others don't look for stuff off the site.
